Study of the noise radiated inside an aircraft fuselage, made of composite material, produced by the vibration induced by turbulent boundary layer. Experimental measurements of the wall pressure field, the vibrations induced on a composite panel and radiated noise. The study includes also: measurements of pressure fluctuations conducted in the wind-tunnel of CIRA (Italian Aerospace Research Centre), in collaboration with the University Roma Tre; measurements of vibrations on a composite panel and its acoustic properties in collaboration with the University of Naples Federico II. The acquired data will be analysed to define theoretical models for the representation of the boundary layer load and the validation of computer codes for structural and acoustic simulation. Development of theoretical models for the representation of the pressure load and numerical simulations of panel-acoustic cavity coupling. The project is funded by Alenia Aeronautica.
