Building the conditions for the use of next-generation software for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Computational Multi-Mechanics (CMM). Such software will be used to model a wide range of physical phenomena of interest to both the research and various application to industrial processes. The project is based on using "Meshless" methods, which significantly differ from conventional methods used in CFD and CMM. The project is divided into six work packages: 1) development of next-generation SPH algorithms, 2) introduction of turbulence models and models for multiphase flow, 3) modeling of fluid-structure interaction, 4) Parallelization of algorithms to perform 3D simulations involving more than 10 million ``particles'' (fluid and solid), 5) development of interactive graphical interface for detailed analysis of numerical simulations carried out; 6) 3D simulations for problems of industrial interest in the areas: naval, biomedical and hydroelectric generation.
